Membership

The Air Rescue Museum is a tax exempt charitable organization formed for educational and historical purposes. As a corporation it exists to achieve the objectives as stated on our "who we are" page.

Memberships are offered as a token of our appreciation and as a way of allowing recognition of those who contribute financial support to our projects, especially the restoration, operation and continuing maintenance of our aircraft, which presently is a former USAF HU-16 Grumman Albatross.

  • ALL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTABLE
  • CONTRIBUTIONS MAY BE MADE BY PAYPAL OR SENT TO THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS:

AIR RESCUE MUSEUM, P.O. BOX 820191, HOUSTON, TX 77282
  • To donate an amount different from the amounts which appear below, please see our DONATE page.
  • NOTE: At present, our HU-16 is still in the restoration stage and is not anticipated to fly before 2009.

Memberships are offered at the following levels on an annual basis:

AIRCRAFT COMMANDER: Includes 2 DVD's, hat, and reduced rates on flight training in our HU-16.
COPILOT: Includes 2 DVD's, hat, reduced rates on flight training in HU-16.
NAVIGATOR: Includes 2 DVD's, a hat and access to our HU-16 on display.
"P.J." PARARESCUE JUMPER: Includes a hat, 1 DVD, and access to HU-16 on display.
RADIO OPERATOR: Includes a hat, 1 DVD, and access to our HU-16 when on display.

The one crew position you will not see listed here is that of CREW CHIEF. That's because we would have to create a level above all the others, which could only be given the value of PRICELESS. If you have HU-16 CREW CHIEF skills and would like to contribute your time working on our airplane and teaching us these skills, please contact us. Your time and help would be more valuable than any financial support in our program.
